R.I.P. from your Serbia, Legend…true Legend never die!
RIP:( from germany München
Rip my friend… im so sorry…
To webmaster: Yes apparently Nasser did pass away on Mar 20th due to kidney failure exaberated by malaria. I believe he died in Egypt, where woudl be also where I woudl figure he caught malaria after being bitten by a mosquito. Again not totally sure on this, but Im fairly connected with people within the bodybuilding industry, and once having been a close friend of Nasser’s I was extremely saddened to hear of his passing so early. Apparently Nasser died during the night in Egypt, was buried the next day in the family’s plot in Cairo, and was given a heros’ send off, accompanied by the secret service.
I have been trying to see if there are any memorials to be held for Nasser in the San Diego area, which I know he lived for so many years, but have come up with nothing so far. Anyone who knows anything, please let me know
i am and always will be a fan of huge nasser but come on people ….kidney …mosquito… come on… RIP
There will be funeral services in Germany, where Nasser grew up and his parents (not sure if both are still alive) and his sister currently reside. Im not sure if they have been held or not.
Nasser was a dear friend and support to me during my days competing in the Jan Tana, Olympia, and Ms International contests. I have beautiful memories of those days, and for Nasser, those were also his hey days with his controversial 2nd place finish at the 1997 Mr Olympia show. He was in excellent health and great spirits during those years, and always amusing to me with his keen observations, witty repartee, and stunning intelligence. Farewell Nasser, see you on the other side old friend
this is terrible and sad news
Nasser, you will always be a champion!
hopefully, if i make it there, i will see you in heaven
in shah alllah
R.I.P. best of the best!
We will always remember you, the uncrowned Mr.Olympia… Your signed photos that you gave me will always be there where they belong- in my heart.
Rest in peace, prince of Egypt ;(
